Some news to chew over

25 January 2009

Our South African distributor, AKURA, has recently secured orders for three Ulster Shredders for use in the SA market.

Two of our U45 SB shredders are headed for Die Burger, South Africa's national newspaper, where they will be used to shred and recycle excess print runs and waste.

In addition, a U15shredder has been ordered by a South African clinical waste disposal company to deal with refuse and waste substances from hospitals.

These developments further cement our longstanding relationship with AKURA. On his recent visit to Ulster Shredders, Louis Germishuys, managing director of AKURA commented:

"We have an excellent working partnership with Ulster Shredders, based first and foremost on the quality of the machines they supply to us, and backed up by their superb service and customer care. I am confident we shall continue to see further growth for their products in the SA market."
