The high levels of torque from this robust 15KW/20hp unit mean that it can handle greater volumes of plastic items such as CDs/DVDs/ video cassettes, plastic bottles and containers and PET drinks bottles than the U-7.
In addition, its low speed/high torque combination means that the U-15 can shred heavier duty products such as some plastic utility piping, plastic extrusions, injection mouldings and rotational mouldings.
